About

I’m the Head of People & Culture at Wheel the World, where I help build inclusive, high-performance teams in a mission-driven company proving that travel is not a privilege, it’s a right.

Over the last few years, I’ve lived the real work of People & Culture: scaling fast, getting things wrong, fixing them, and doing it again, this time better. I don’t mentor from theory. I mentor from what actually happens inside startups.

Before Wheel the World, I led global hiring and people strategy at Cornershop (Uber) during its hypergrowth phase, directly and indirectly managing 32 talent leaders across LATAM, North America, and Canada while helping build what became a Chilean unicorn. Remote teams, cultural complexity, pressure, speed...I’ve been there.

What I bring to mentoring:

- Designing people-first systems that scale (without burning teams out)

- Building remote and distributed cultures that actually work

- Navigating leadership, performance, and compensation in high-growth environments

- Making HR less “smoke and mirrors” and more useful, honest, and human

I regularly mentor HR professionals and startup leaders who want to move from good intentions to real impact. I also co-hosted two seasons of the HR podcast Re_curso Humano, where we openly called out the myths, shortcuts, and uncomfortable truths in our field.
