Hey there! I'm Kat and I'm currently the sole Product Lead at an Aussie tech start-up/scale-up that straddles Digital Retail, eComm & FinTech. Prior to that I spent over 4 years at a large Australian retail company, playing in the consumer apps space that served millions of B2C customers everyday. I've built and led product teams, developed product strategies and shipped products to market across start-up, scale-up and large enterprise environments.

Before diving into the tech scene, I started my career in Institutional Finance & Banking, which gave me a solid foundation in understanding complex systems and customer needs. I "fell" into the world of product 8 years ago when I joined a FinTech start-up, and I've been through a few tough years myself as I tried to find my footing as a product manager with zero technical background.

What I wish I had back then was someone I could ask for candid and honest advice to help me navigate this entirely new career path and finding out my personal angle in succeeding in the Product discipline.
