About
I'm an engineering leader with 22 years in software engineering, most of it at Microsoft and AWS, including 10 as an engineering manager. At AWS I led 18 engineers across two teams on Redshift data plane security and connectivity. At Microsoft I worked on Azure SQL security, Service Fabric, Windows Phone and Xbox. I hold a US patent in database security.
I've done hundreds of interviews across Amazon and Microsoft, so I know what hiring managers look for. I've grown engineers up to L6 at Amazon and up to Principal (L65) at Microsoft, and helped several engineers on my teams become tech leads and then engineering managers.
