I'm Manjula — an Engineering Manager, Delivery Lead, and International Tech Speaker based in Berlin, with 10+ years of experience spanning hands-on frontend engineering to leading cross-functional teams at scale.
My journey started as a software engineer writing React, Node.js, and GraphQL — and over the years I grew into engineering leadership, where I built and scaled engineering operations in Germany at companies like N26 and Vanguard. That path from IC to EM is something I lived firsthand, and it's one of the things I love helping others navigate.
At Vanguard, I led cross-functional teams, defined technical vision, implemented Agile practices that reduced cycle time by 25–30%, and mentored engineers at every stage of their careers. I believe great engineering leadership is rooted in empathy — a value I've spoken about publicly and built teams around.
