Hi, I'm Mark!
I've been working in software and product development since 2005 - as Engineer, Tech Lead, Coach, VP of Engineering and CTO.
I like to work close to the product, bridging the gaps between technical and non-technical and helping businesses to solve product problems, not just technical ones. In recent times I've operated exclusively in the startup space and have been through 2 successful exits in the last 5 years.
I have a passion for helping people grow. I spent a year as a full-time coach at a London-based bootcamp in order to hone my coaching skills, and I spend several hours a week coaching technical sessions on subjects like Leadership and API Design via Skiller Whale.
I can draw on technical skills from the across the stack - BE, FE, Mobile, Database and Cloud - and experience managing and leading in a variety of different environments.
