Mathieu Fourn is a finance professional with more than 12 years experience. He is Director of Financial Solutions at Shell Foundation, where he leads climate finance strategy and initiatives to deploy catalytic capital through funds, intermediaries, and blended finance vehicles to accelerate clean energy access across Africa and India.
He has also spent several years at Opportunity International as Global Director of Financial Products where he worked with microfinance institutions to develop and enhance financial products that expand access to finance in emerging markets (Africa, LAC, and Asia) and manages a team of 25 financial advisors.
With a robust background in corporate finance and project management from his tenure at RCI Banque and General Electric across EMEA and the USA, Mathieu brings a wealth of experience to his role. He holds an MA in Corporate Finance from Université Paris Dauphine and a BA in General Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
