About

** Why work with me?
I'm a former Microsoft software engineer (6+ years), a NASA research intern, and a PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Currently, I’m a Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where I teach deep learning, machine learning, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs).

My research bridges ML and domain applications—from physics and biology to business—and my technical toolkit includes AI/ML, NLP, GenAI, Computer Vision, and model interpretability. I also draw on my experience in software engineering, including cloud (Azure), web dev, and system design.

** Who do I help?
I mentor curious and driven individuals—from students to professionals—who want to deepen their knowledge in software engineering and ML or pivot into AI roles. Many of my mentees are navigating the overwhelming rise of AI and LLMs; I help cut through the noise and guide them toward clarity, confidence, and real-world competence.

Whether you're working on a research project, career change, portfolio development, or startup idea, I can help you build strong foundations, sharpen your coding and ML skills, and stay ahead in this fast-changing space.

** What’s it like to work with me?
My approach is hands-on and fundamentals-first. We’ll combine theory with practice through demos, coding tasks, or toy projects—whatever best suits your goals. I tailor each mentorship to your background and ambitions, offering a blend of technical coaching, career guidance, and project feedback.

** Let’s connect...
If you're serious about growing in AI, ML, or software engineering, I’d love to help you on your journey. Feel free to reach out and let’s plan your next step!
