As a data scientist at Kohl's, I analyze large data sets and create machine learning models to help the retail giant make data-driven decisions. I have been working in analytics for more than four years and have developed strong skills in machine learning, data cleaning, cloud computing, and data visualization.

I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of data scientists. I teach graduate courses in machine learning and database management at the University of Denver, where I graduated from the data science master's program.

My background as a former professional soccer player in Germany and Canada has shaped my work ethic, resilience, and teamwork. I transitioned into the data science industry after working as a performance analyst for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, where I led the analytics department and gained a deep interest in data-related tasks. I am fluent in English, German, and Persian, and enjoy reading and writing data science blogs, playing soccer, and spending time with my family when I am not working or studying new technologies. I am always eager to learn new skills and solve challenging problems with data.
