I find it rewarding and valuable to help others on their journey as a founder. I mentor founders currently and felt Mentor Cruise would be a great place to formalise this and take on more clients.

I contracted as the Head of Product role at Panion (a community platform) and mentored/advised 7 startups and founders during the same year. One of those businesses grew from zero to £100K, another from $90K to $180K+ in less than 12 months.

I have worked in Product Management and Product R&D for 10yrs. Including the IBM Watson Group and R&D division at Roke Manor Research. I have a PhD and published academic papers on a theory combining behavioural science and visual analytics - how data influences behaviour. My knowledge is matched with practical experience, working on several large scale data products including in ad-tech at Switch Concepts' and cyber security at Panaseer. In 2021 I worked for MPC Film for two years - VFX studio who did The Lion King 2019, Jungle Book and hundreds more shows. I was working under people there who are now at Epic and Apple- who taught me a great deal.

In 2021 I also helped 30+ startups and founders by providing them with an audit of their product. A screen recording of 30-90 minutes that highlights issues with UX, IA, choice architecture, onboarding, landing pages, conversions, UI design, activation, pricing strategy, competitor analysis, retention, and referrals.

From working with founders, I have found that while some people need an audit, several people have asked me to mentor them directly as founders and bootstrappers.

Currently, I divide my time between advising/mentoring product founders, working on client projects as a Creative Director, and producing a podcast. I specialise in real time 3D experiences - mostly film/TV.
