I'm an Entrepreneur and Software Engineer with a non-traditional Business and Biology background. I learned to code on the job, first in Excel and using SQL, then I expanded my skills to Web development with personal projects and online coding classes through Coursera before landing a full-time job as a Software Engineer and working my way into Lead and Management roles. I worked at 6 different companies, in almost as many industries, building products and projects from the ground up at all of them. I've since ventured out on my own and built a React Native travel planning app called BTravelrs, writing all the code (at least the lines I can't get ChatGPT to properly produce, which is less and less these days) and setting up the business, handling related things like accounting, marketing, etc.
I'm looking to provide my 13+ years of expertise in Software Engineering/Development, Management, and Business to those with simple and quick questions or those looking for more long-term or hands-on help.
Mentees who work with a mentor for 3+ months reach their goals 2x faster than those going it alone. Long-term mentorship means fewer false starts, more focused sessions, and support that builds week after week.
