Hello w0rld! I am an information security geek with ~25 years of experience in the field as a team lead, advisor, mentor, penetration tester, technical consultant and PCI DSS Auditor. Active since April 2021, our cybersecurity mentorship program (https://greenbridge.gr/mentorship.html) has received ~400 applications for mentorship from talented young people from all over the globe. Many of our mentees have secured solid positions as analysts, penetration testers and security engineers in various prestigious companies in the Information Security Industry. Our mentorship program is self-paced, self-managed, free of charge and open to all.
A crucial point in this mentorship program is that you are the boss here. You are in control of your progress, pace of studying, timetables, and everything else in between. I am happy to answer all your questions, help you organise, and support you but, ultimately, it is you who will be propelling yourself forward. Whenever in doubt, don’t be shy and ask!
Another important point is that the communication between us will be asynchronous, via a Discord channel. As I don't charge for these mentorships, I rarely do 1-1 meetings and video calls; I am, however, very active in the channel, and also available for private discussions whenever people want to discuss something in a 1-1 setting.
