I am Vilas Veeraraghavan, Engineer at heart and a Tech Executive by profession. I have led small and large organizations of talented developers, architects, and quality engineers to help drive engineering innovations. I have spent my past life at Comcast, Netflix, Walmart and Bill building high performance teams that focus their attention on automation, chaos engineering, CI/CD at scale and improving developer productivity across the enterprise by enabling engineers to do more with tools. My focus is on building high-quality software and utilizing my expertise in distributed computing and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
With over 18 years of experience in the tech industry, I have held various leadership roles in companies like Bill and Walmart Labs. At Bill, I served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, where I spearheaded the development productivity and enablement efforts. During my time at Walmart Labs, I led a global DevEx team of 90+ engineers and established continuous integration practices for the whole organization (20k+ engineers). My passion for mentoring and nurturing talent has allowed me to become a trusted mentor for many aspiring professionals.
I currently advise a handful of early stage startups in the Dev Productivity space. I am also a strong advocate for mentorship and have been a part of various mentorship programs. My goal is to inspire and guide the next generation of leaders in the tech industry. It is a privilege for me to be able to use my experience and skills to make a positive impact in the world of technology.
