Hi everyone, thanks so much for being here today.

A little bit about me — I'm Maggie, currently a Senior PM at TikTok on the Global Monetization team. I've spent about six years in product, working across AdTech, e-commerce, creator monetization, and AI platform products — including launching TikTok Shop as the founding US PM, building our Verified Business Account program, and most recently leading AI-driven ads automation products.

What's relevant to today's session is that a big part of my career has been navigating growth as a PM in a fast-moving, highly cross-functional environment — figuring out how to build conviction, influence without authority, and move quickly on ambiguous problems. I've made a lot of mistakes along the way, and I've learned a lot from them, and I'm hoping to share some of that today in a way that's actually useful for where you are right now.

In terms of when I do these — I try to carve out time for mentorship and community conversations on a regular basis, because honestly, I wish I'd had more of this earlier in my own career. So I'm really glad we could make this happen.
