My Background: I am a Principal ML Engineer & Researcher with over a decade of experience in the AI and ML space. I am currently driving LLM postraining and generative personalization efforts at Atlassian, and have previously led Deep Learning & GenAI-powered user personalization at late-stage conversation commerce startup (Attentive), Twitter, and Amazon. I specialize in designing low-latency, large-scale Deep Learning models and shipping them to production. I have extensively published in NLP (Large Language Model / GenAI), Deep Learning, and Applied ML domains, accumulating over 1.2k citations, and currently utilize my expertise as part of the research committee at leading AI conferences like ICML, KDD, TheWebConf, and so on. Due to my extensive contributions to ML Research, I am recognized by the US Government as one of the outstanding researchers. I campaign for a data-centric approach to AI and have co-authored a book on the topic: Sculpting Data for ML.
