About this session
Career growth rarely happens by accident. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you build a clearer roadmap for where you want to go next and how to get there. Whether you are aiming for a promotion, preparing for a bigger role, or feeling stuck in your current position, this session helps you turn broad ambition into a practical career strategy.
You’ll work with an experienced mentor to define your next step, identify the skills and signals that matter, and create a plan for making progress inside your current company or beyond it. Together, you can assess your strengths, spot gaps, map out promotion criteria, and think through how to build visibility, ownership, and momentum over time. The goal is to leave with more clarity, better direction, and a concrete plan to move your career forward with intention.
Your mentor
I spent 5+ years in product at Reddit, primarily leading Search across product strategy, UX, experimentation, technical systems, and AI/ML.
This session is best for PMs and product leaders who want focused help getting clarity on what to prioritize next. That might include a career or interview decision, product strategy question, prioritization problem, technical product challenge, Search/AI question, or feedback on something you're working on.
For a first session, we can also use the time to step back and look at your broader goals, identify the highest-value areas to focus on, and work out what kind of support would be most useful going forward.
Come with one or two things you'd most like to make progress on. I'll help you pressure-test your thinking, identify what matters most, and leave with concrete next steps rather than generic advice.
If it seems useful after the session, we can also discuss whether occasional follow-up sessions or a more recurring mentorship would make sense.
