An introductory call is a simple way to get to know a mentor before committing to ongoing mentorship. This session gives you the chance to ask questions, talk through your goals, and see whether the mentor’s background, communication style, and approach feel like the right fit for you. It is a low-pressure starting point designed to help you make a more confident decision.
You can use the call to share what you are working on, what kind of support you are looking for, and where you feel stuck right now. It is also a chance to understand how the mentor typically works with mentees, what kind of guidance they can offer, and whether there is a strong mutual fit. The goal is to leave the conversation with more clarity on your next step and whether you want to continue working together.

With 24+ years across the financial and tech sectors, I have built and led teams, data products, and business initiatives from the ground up many times. I have a long track record of coaching and mentoring, both as a leader within the organisations I worked for, but also as part of initiatives such as Women in APIs. I have also helped many young people decide on and begin their careers, including building their CVs and applying to jobs. My time is flexible, so feel free to book a slot that works for you.

How do I pick a time?

Sessions happen over video call. Your mentor shares the meeting link ahead of time, so all you need is a quiet spot and a stable connection.
Can I reschedule?
