About this session
For pre-seed through Series A B2B software and AI founders preparing to raise.
Send me your deck before we meet. We'll spend an hour working through the customer problem, your product, traction, business model and funding ask. I'll point out where the story is unclear, which claims need evidence and what I'd change before investor conversations.
Includes review of one deck, a 60-minute working session, and a follow-up Loom walkthrough of the marked-up deck within 48 hours. Best when you're two to four weeks from starting a round.
The session covers feedback and revisions to the story. Slide design, investor introductions and running a fundraising process are outside its scope.
Your mentor
Hi, I'm Chris. I help B2B software and AI founders figure out what customers will pay for, what to build first, and how to win those customers.
I work with founders from pre-seed through Series A. Early on, we might work through customer conversations, choose a first market or decide what belongs in your MVP. Once you have customers, we can look at pricing, why deals aren't moving and how to make sales more repeatable.
I've spent 20 years in Silicon Valley's tech and AI scene. I've founded a software company, created SAP's Connected Goods platform, and led product teams at Cognizant and Elevance Health. I've also mentored founders through Stanford GSB's Ignite program, Alchemist and German Accelerator. Enterprise software and healthcare are areas I know well.
You can bring the unfinished version: an idea you're questioning, a sales pitch that isn't landing or a decision you keep going back and forth on. I'll ask questions, give you honest feedback and help you decide what to try next. First-time and nontechnical founders are welcome.
Monthly mentoring gives us four 45-minute conversations to work through your product and customer decisions, review what you've tried and agree on next steps. Between calls, you can message me with follow-up questions and work in progress. I reply within 24 hours on workdays. Full deck reviews, written strategy reviews and specialist implementation projects are scoped separately.
If you need help with one decision, a paid one-off session may be enough. If you're considering ongoing mentoring, send me a few lines about what you're building, your stage and the decision you need help with. We can start with a message, then arrange a short introduction if there's a fit.
