A strong portfolio can open doors, but only if it clearly shows what you can do and why it matters. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you improve how your work is presented, whether you are applying for jobs, pitching clients, or building credibility in your field. If your portfolio feels scattered, outdated, or not quite convincing enough, this session gives you practical feedback on how to strengthen it.
You’ll work with an experienced mentor to review your portfolio through the eyes of a hiring manager, client, or industry peer. Together, you can assess the quality of your project selection, case studies, storytelling, structure, and presentation, and identify what is missing or not landing. The goal is to leave with clearer direction on how to make your portfolio more focused, more compelling, and more effective at creating opportunities.
Your mentor
As Head of Design, I’ve been hiring junior and senior designers for the past 6 years. During this time, I’ve reviewed hundreds of CVs and portfolios, learning what truly captures attention. Additionally, I teach UX and Product Design in several Master's programs in Barcelona, where I help designers refine their CVs and portfolios to enter the industry successfully.
