A strong portfolio can open doors, but only if it clearly shows what you can do and why it matters. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you improve how your work is presented, whether you are applying for jobs, pitching clients, or building credibility in your field. If your portfolio feels scattered, outdated, or not quite convincing enough, this session gives you practical feedback on how to strengthen it.
You’ll work with an experienced mentor to review your portfolio through the eyes of a hiring manager, client, or industry peer. Together, you can assess the quality of your project selection, case studies, storytelling, structure, and presentation, and identify what is missing or not landing. The goal is to leave with clearer direction on how to make your portfolio more focused, more compelling, and more effective at creating opportunities.
Your mentor
As a designer and mentor with over a decade of experience in design and tech, I’ve reviewed countless design portfolio. I know what hiring managers look for, and more importantly, what they don’t. Whether you're applying to startups or larger tech companies, I can give advice on your portfolio.
I usually hold these sessions during weekday evenings or occasional weekends, feel free to book a time that works for you.

Sessions happen over video call. Your mentor shares the meeting link ahead of time, so all you need is a quiet spot and a stable connection.
Can I reschedule?

You're protected. If a mentor is a no-show, it takes one click to cancel and get your money back, no questions asked.
