A strong portfolio can open doors, but only if it clearly shows what you can do and why it matters. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you improve how your work is presented, whether you are applying for jobs, pitching clients, or building credibility in your field. If your portfolio feels scattered, outdated, or not quite convincing enough, this session gives you practical feedback on how to strengthen it.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to review your portfolio through the eyes of a hiring manager, client, or industry peer. Together, you can assess the quality of your project selection, case studies, storytelling, structure, and presentation, and identify what is missing or not landing. The goal is to leave with clearer direction on how to make your portfolio more focused, more compelling, and more effective at creating opportunities.

I have over a decade of experience as a hiring manager working closely with recruiters, screening candidates, reviewing resumes, facilitating technical and behavioral interview, being a part of group portfolio reviews, and helping to make final decisions on candidate hiring. During this session I will provide feedback I have on your portfolio from an asynchronous review ahead of our session as well as provide realtime feedback on how you present your work when we meet.
