I maintain OpenFGA, a CNCF Incubating authorization system based on Google Zanzibar-style access control. I also wrote The Agentic Engineering Guide, a 33-chapter open-source guide on context engineering, agent security, authorization, observability, backpressure, and team practices for AI-assisted engineering.
My work has sat across developer platforms, AI agent infrastructure, web infrastructure, growth systems, and open source. At Ona, formerly Gitpod - acq. OpenAI, I worked on developer platform and AI infrastructure systems for a product used by 1.7M+ developers. I also owned major parts of the website, web infrastructure, analytics, and growth experimentation stack.
