I am Ali. I have more than 12 years of experience in software engineering, source code management, and overall software development life cycle. My current role entails developing software for Okta Integration Network (OIN). Previously I worked on performance-critical and scalable software for cloud-based enterprise content management systems, and data protection products used for the backup and recovery of enterprise applications and databases.

I have extensive design and development skills using Java, .NET, server-side web technologies, containerization technologies, AWS, and so on. I am proficient in Linux and UNIX systems, and have sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design and implementation.

I enjoy mentoring software engineers, ensuring a higher-level of quality during architecture and code reviews, writing wiki pages explaining complex technical features, and communicating technical concepts to different stakeholders.

I have a Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, and several published articles on fuzzy control systems and data mining.
