I am a full-stack software engineering manager/lead. I started my career as a frontend leaning full-stack engineer, then transitioned into a solely backend role before transitioning to the infrastructure and DevOps side of things. I have helped a number of self taught or recent bootcamp grads land their first job as a software developers as well as helped mid level engineers ascend to a senior role. I understand how important it is to have great mentorship but who mentors you is equally as important as what they're telling you. Best mentor ever! I was looking to break into the industry as a software engineer after graduating from college. Donovan helped me accomplished that. It took a bit longer than I expected, but probably because the market isn’t looking so good right now. I am very thankful that I met him. He goes above and beyond what you need, and always there to lend a helping hand. He is very knowledgeable and he know his stuff that is probably why he is a lead in just a few years.
