Hey, I'm Henry.
I've spent the last 15+ years breaking and defending applications across financial services (Mastercard, ATB, Coast Capital), energy (Enbridge, AER), and government. Today, I lead application security and AI red-teaming work, and I build offensive tooling in my spare time, including pentest-agent, an AI-driven exploit framework on my GitHub (0xCyberGuru).
I hold CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, Microsoft AZ and GIAC certifications, plus an MBA. I'm sitting my OSCP this July. So I've walked the path you're probably on, and I can tell you exactly which parts are worth your time and which are noise.
Here's what I can help you with:
Breaking into application security or offensive security. The actual career path, what to study, and how to land the role.
AI red-teaming and LLM security. This is the highest-growth niche in cyber right now, and it's where I'm actively building.
Certification strategy. CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, CISM. I've done them. I'll tell you what's worth it and what isn't.
Senior-level career moves. Getting to Lead or Principal, building a public technical presence on GitHub or at conferences, navigating big-tech versus financial services.
I work best with people who want concrete next steps, not vague advice. If that's you, let's talk.
Mentees who work with a mentor for 3+ months reach their goals 2x faster than those going it alone. Long-term mentorship means fewer false starts, more focused sessions, and support that builds week after week.
