About
Getting ready for a promotion, leading a team for the first time, or working with stakeholders who don't make it easy? I've been there, and I'd be glad to help.
I spent years as an individual contributor before being invited into management, and I remember how unclear that step looked from the outside. Together, we make it concrete: what the role really asks of you, what to stop doing, and how to become visible to the people who decide.
I work with technology, operations, product and project professionals on leadership, people and performance management, career transitions, programme and project management, and stakeholder management. For over 18 years, I've led delivery in large, complex organisations across media and technology, biopharmaceuticals, mobility and industrial engineering. A few results:
• Measured delivery performance across a large multi-team engineering organisation, and agreed an improvement plan with every team
• Led continuous improvement at a global biopharmaceutical company's first European capability centre from three months after launch, and made structured problem-solving standard practice there
• Grew ancillary revenue by leading the pan-European optimisation of a rental checkout
• Held P&L accountability for 12 years for an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited engineering laboratory serving automotive and aerospace manufacturers, and grew its revenue by extending the accreditation scope
I hold an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. I'm a certified SAFe 6 Scrum Master, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified trainer (CCP, IEFP), and I'm training for the ICF ACC. I've spoken at Flowtopia 2026, on Lean Fundamentals, and at Project Management Day 2026, hosted by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
I also build and run astronotes.eu myself with AI, from specification to production. I'm based in London, and I mentor in English and Portuguese.
