💪 Have a bulletproof CV / Résumé that gets noticed and is ready to be sent at all times. The CV benefits you because it's a self-reflection document (you have a lot more skills than you realise), and for hiring managers, it's a presentation document. To grab their attention, it needs to have the right information, in the right amount, in the right place.
💪 Practice situational awareness to increase your presence and interact effectively and gracefully with stakeholders. Handling yourself properly, in written and oral form, to your line manager, team or hiring manager, reduces the communication friction and makes them more receptive to your needs.
💪 Finally, I'm sure you already have the technical skills required or are attending specialised courses. The last critical factor is how you sort your priorities and how you use your time: it's not enough to do the right things. To have a positive impact, they need to be done in the proper sequence. Your own time is the most precious resource.
I had the privilege of being mentored early on in my career, and I've been mentoring since 2017. Most people achieve substantial success in 100 days or less. All of them improve their condition from day 1.
