Hands-on support
Hello! I’m a product and systems designer with 20 years of experience across UX, UI, QA, and front end development. My main area of interest is accessibility and inclusive design, but my background across different roles gives me a broad, practical view of how products get made and what it takes to move between disciplines or break into new areas.
I’m currently working in big tech, and before that I spent 20 years supporting teams of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked with small local charities, major retailers, government agencies, and multinational organisations including Mastercard and McKinsey. That range means I’m used to adapting to very different environments and helping people find steady, realistic ways to grow.
I’m a hands-on individual contributor, not a manager, so my mentoring tends to focus on growing your craft, building influence without authority, and navigating the realities of IC career paths. I enjoy supporting people who want to strengthen their product design skills, build confidence in accessibility, or move forward in their careers. I’m particularly keen to help designers step into their first senior role or progress from senior into Staff+ positions. I can help you set realistic goals, navigate role changes, manage your time, prepare for interviews, sharpen your portfolio, or build a clearer sense of your own path.
Let me know how I can help you. I try to respond quickly.

- Work out the boring logistics like time zones and communication methods
- Have a cup of tea (or drink of your choice!)
