I'm Nate - a professional Games Programmmer, turned Web Developer, turned Content Creator.
I've worked for almost 20 years in programming, using a vast array of languages, libraries and platforms to create all sorts of software. I also have some pretty good skills in design, UI/UX, linux, systems administration and devops if that interests you.
I recently became a content creator to help return some of the knowledge and experience I've picked up over my many years in tech to the newer generation in tech. I love seeing the spark and passion from those who really want to learn and improve and no question is ever a stupid question in my mind. We all interpret things in our own way and it's easy to miss or misinterpret information, so my goal is to help clarify all that for you.
I was lucky to have a mentor when I started, who inspired me to be the best that I could. It was more helpful than any text book or course. I want to now do that for others. In fact, I have mentored programmers in the past, and had a great experience with it, including making some really good friends in the process.
But as they say, a picture (or video in this case) is worth a thousand words. Want to know what I'm like and how I teach? Just visit my channel (see website link below) and skip through a video or two. You can also watch them if you like, I don't mind.
Mentees who work with a mentor for 3+ months reach their goals 2x faster than those going it alone. Long-term mentorship means fewer false starts, more focused sessions, and support that builds week after week.
