We'll meet for a quick call (usually under 30 minutes) where we:
- Break the ice and introduce ourselves
- Discuss your goals and how I can support you
- Coordinate logistics like time zones, meeting frequency, and communication methods
As someone who mostly learned on their own, I have significant first-hand experience learning programming without a set curriculum or structure. It's a challenge! Together, I can help you reach your potential by helping focus your efforts on the most efficient pathways to getting a job.
I have significant experience teaching. I spent a year trying to found a nonprofit startup, AnyoneCanCode, whose objective was to provide free, multi-lingual coding curriculum. I've also mentored dozens of people, multiple of whom went on to get jobs in the industry.
In general I am very passionate about teaching, in high school I even used to make money from teaching piano lessons!
