About

Hello! I am a HCI/UX researcher passionate about building systems or products that are meaningful to the users. I am a UX Researcher 2 at Microsoft working on Azure products. I completed my Ph.D. in Information Science at the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University, Philadelphia. During my Ph.D., I completed two internships (Microsoft Research and ServiceNow) and the internship at ServiceNow was converted to a full-time role.

Outside of work, I love traveling and I enjoy hiking, photography, playing board games, and watching TV shows (especially comedies and medical dramas).

Swathi helped me start customer discovery interviews; I had read books about UX research, but it felt like I needed a background in UX to embark on that kind of endeavor. Swathi provided guidance, insight, and motivation to get out there and start interviewing! Once we started gathering insights, Swathi provided valuable input on how to gather the data/build personas, and what goals to set early in the journey. Swathi is a true UX expert, and our mentorship was priceless. Thank you so much, Swathi!
