I didn’t start my career in tech sales; and I definitely didn’t take a straight path to get here.
I started as a chemical engineer, moved into semiconductor and hardware sales, and eventually made the leap into enterprise software and cloud sales. Today, I’m a Principal Account Manager at AWS, where I work with senior leaders and C-suite executives on technology transformation, cloud, and increasingly, AI.
I’ve made a few big career pivots myself, and I know how intimidating it can feel to look at a role you want and wonder whether your background makes sense for it.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned? You don’t need the “perfect” background to build an incredible career in tech. You need to understand how to position the experience you already have, communicate your value, build the right relationships, and advocate for where you want to go next.
I’m especially passionate about helping women accelerate their careers, particularly in industries and rooms that are still predominantly male. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I’ve learned a lot about navigating career pivots, building confidence, developing executive presence, and finding your voice.
A few areas I can help with:
🔹 Breaking into Tech & Tech Sales — Translating the experience you already have into a story that resonates.
🔹 Career Pivots — I’ve gone from engineering → hardware → software → cloud & AI. We can figure out what transfers, what gaps actually matter, and how to make your next move.
🔹 Interview Strategy — Telling your story, articulating your impact, and showing why you make sense for the role.
🔹 Enterprise Sales & Executive Presence — Navigating complex organizations, building relationships with senior leaders, asking better questions, and becoming a more strategic seller.
🔹 AI & Career Growth — Understanding how AI is changing business and tech careers, while building the visibility, confidence, and skills to grow with it.
I’m not here to pretend there’s one perfect career playbook. We’ll look at your experience, your strengths, and where you want to go, and figure out what can actually help you get there.
If you’ve ever looked at a role and thought, “I know I could do that; I just don’t know how to get someone else to see it yet,” I’ve been there too.
Your background doesn’t have to perfectly match where you’re going. Mine never did.
