More than two years ago, I hit the wall every service business hits: growth demands execution capacity. The default answer is hiring, more people, more overhead, more management, more training, and the constant risk of churn.
When my fourth assistant quit, I realised I wasn’t replacing a person, I was choosing a workforce model. Either keep adding overhead, or build AI agents that execute permanently.
I chose agents.
I’m Vincent de Vos, computer- and data scientist, entrepreneur, and founder focused on reinventing how service businesses scale. Over 15+ years I built apps, SaaS, and service companies. In 2021 I founded Chainforce, scaling to 135+ clients across 35 countries and contributing to over $350M in enterprise value, yet I was still the bottleneck.
My options were simple:
1. keep doing it myself,
2. hire another person, or
3. systematize the work and let AI-agents execute.
I documented SOPs, codified processes, and built agents for the repetitive but essential. The result: 70 percent of core workflows automated across marketing, sales, finance, and operations, while profitability increased.
