Hi - I'm Nancy! I’ve spent over three decades as a hands-on software engineer and architect, building the kind of large-scale web platforms and distributed systems that millions of people use every day. I recently served as a Distinguished Engineer at Capital One. My technical foundation is rooted in large-scale enterprise platform engineering—building the systems that drive scale and developer productivity—which I pair with extensive, tactical experience in modern frontend web architecture (Angular, React, TypeScript). Now, I'm applying those principles to engineer web experiences at a startup.

What I love most is helping other engineers find their feet and grow their careers. I’ve done extensive mentoring and coaching both within the corporate world and through volunteering with a non-profit. Whether you’re a new grad just starting out or a senior engineer looking to break into the executive individual contributor (IC) path, I’m here to help you. We can work together on navigating the IC track, getting that next promotion, or just figuring out how to handle tricky team dynamics or tech challenges.

Sessions happen over video call. Your mentor shares the meeting link ahead of time, so all you need is a quiet spot and a stable connection.

Can I reschedule?
