I’ve spent over 30 years in the trenches as a hands-on software engineer and architect, building the kind of large-scale web platforms and distributed systems that millions of people use every day. Most recently, I served as a Distinguished Engineer at Capital One, where I focused on modern frontend web architecture—think Angular, TypeScript, and monorepos—alongside platform engineering and technical leadership.

What I love most is helping other engineers find their feet and grow their careers. I’ve done extensive mentoring and coaching both within the corporate world and through volunteering with a non-profit.
