Sometimes, a strategy is needed to accomplish a future career change, or simply to get further in your current position. Should you go back to school? Look for a new job? Learn a new set of skills by yourself? Become a freelancer?

One of our mentors could be the outside view you need. They understand the challenges that come with a career change, and are happy to help you come up with a solid strategy on how to reach your goals.

What's your experience with this?
I've mentored designers throughout my 10+ year career at companies like Twitter, Pinterest, and Canva. I was also an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts and have lectured internationally, so I have both formal teaching experience and hands-on industry mentorship.

Why are you qualified to do the session?
I bring real-world experience from launching products like Canva Sheets, GrabFood, AudioProtect, The Bay Lights, and branding for Gaspar Brasserie. Combined with my formal teaching background, I'm passionate about inclusive design and helping others build empathy for users. My global experience across different markets gives me diverse perspectives to share with mentees.

When are you usually conducting these sessions?
I'm flexible with scheduling and can accommodate different time zones based on my experience working internationally.
