In this session, I’ll act as your technical interviewer, running a mock interview that closely mirrors what you’d experience in real-world hiring processes.
Drawing from my experience, I’ll tailor the questions to your level and the roles you’re targeting — whether it's offensive security or a general infosec role.
Here’s how the session typically goes:
🧠 45 minutes of interview-style Q&A: Expect technical questions, problem-solving scenarios, and behavioral insights.
🧩 15 minutes of feedback and coaching: I’ll highlight knowledge gaps, communication issues, and subtle behaviours that might concern hiring teams — along with actionable ways to improve.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, more prepared, and more in control when it counts.
Your mentor
👋 Hi, I’m Mohamed Salah — a Principal Security Researcher at Oracle, with deep roots in Offensive Security and Penetration Testing. Over the past decade, I’ve worked across diverse sectors including software houses, telecom, and global security consultancies, always driven by a passion for breaking things... responsibly.
👨🏫 Along the way, I’ve earned technical certifications from various reputable organisations like OffSec, eLearnSecurity, and Altered Security. I’ve also led high-impact projects across the EMEA region, making it a bit more secure. and I actively contribute to the infosec community—whether through meetups, mentoring, or speaking engagements, as of my recent talk at Black Hat MEA.
🔍 I stay constantly updated on the latest advancements in the field, not just for my own growth, but so I can share insights with mentees, colleagues, and friends, and give back to the community whenever I can.
One of the aspirations that sparked my cybersecurity journey was Capture-The-Flag competitions — a space where I earned multiple wins and built the foundations of my technical mindset. I’d love to support and guide anyone looking to grow through CTFs as well.

How do I pick a time?

How does the session take place?
Sessions happen over video call. Your mentor shares the meeting link ahead of time, so all you need is a quiet spot and a stable connection.
Can I reschedule?
