Your mentor
I'm a lifelong cybersecurity technologist turned entrepreneur. In 2016, I founded Sentant as my "side hustle" security consulting practice. It grew to over 30 employees, ~$6MM in revenue and was acquired in 2022.
I've worked directly with dozens of startups over the years, both as a consultant and in-house. This has given me a unique real-world perspective on what works, what doesn't work from both business and tech sides of the house.
Coming from humble roots, I didn't have a pedigree or access to funding. So, I bootstrapped Sentant; and we never raised money or took out loans until acquisition.
I'm here to help any entrepreneurs looking to either start their own service business, or those looking for advice on how to build and de-risk their startup. I'm especially useful if the product is in security, or sensitive areas such as finance and healthcare.
I've interviewed and hired hundreds over my career for security and IT roles, and am happy to help anyone looking to advance a career in IT, cybersecurity or DevOps. I'm still highly technical as well and can give specific advice as to what technologies and tools to pursue, and how to secure cloud environments and apps.
