About this Session

Some big interviews coming up? In this 1-hour session, a mentor with hiring experience will act as a technical interviewer and ask you some standard hiring questions that you might hear in one of your future interview too, and will evaluate your replies.

As a result of this, you should receive actionable feedback on what to improve about your knowledge, interview presence and other things that may be relevant to a future hiring decision.

As a hiring manager with over a decade of product management experience, I can help you dial in your interview prep and ensure that you're well positioned for PM interviews.

We'll meet via GoogleMeet, and I'd appreciate if you can provide me some sample job descriptions so I can tailor my interview to best suit the roles you're targeting.

I'm excited to work with you!

thanks

I sought mentorship with Sharad in order to help craft a better resume to improve my response rates when applying. His background was somewhat similar to mine but he had more experience in product. He was able to provide some good tips on crafting a better resume as well as on mindset when doing applications. If I were to provide some constructive feedback, I think I would simply suggest (for all mentors) to have a practice of reviewing the previous meeting every time and going over action items and what if any was the blocker that prevented that from being completed. It's easy to give and receive advice often times, but much easier to not take action on it. So I think a big part of mentorship is keeping mentees accountable.
