I sought mentorship with Sharad in order to help craft a better resume to improve my response rates when applying. His background was somewhat similar to mine but he had more experience in product. He was able to provide some good tips on crafting a better resume as well as on mindset when doing applications. If I were to provide some constructive feedback, I think I would simply suggest (for all mentors) to have a practice of reviewing the previous meeting every time and going over action items and what if any was the blocker that prevented that from being completed. It's easy to give and receive advice often times, but much easier to not take action on it. So I think a big part of mentorship is keeping mentees accountable.
