If you're looking for a mentor, and you're just not sure about how this all works – this one is for you. In a casual, informal introductory call, a mentor will introduce themselves, show you around the platform, explain how our mentorships work, and explain how they would set up a mentorship with you.

This session is perfect if you're looking for a long-term mentor, but you're just not sure how this can work – or if you already set eyes on a specific mentor, and want to get to know them beforehand.

Experience & Background:

I’m a backend and cloud engineer with 15+ years of experience building scalable systems and leading engineering teams. At Amazon, I’ve worked across AWS and the smart home space, driving architecture, mentoring engineers, and shipping high-impact services on serverless AWS infrastructure. My expertise spans distributed systems, API design (Smithy/OpenAPI/GraphQL), automation via codegen pipelines, and developer productivity tooling. I’ve also worked extensively with Scala, Java, Kotlin, Rust, and Terraform.

How I Can Help:

I’ve coached engineers toward senior roles, improved engineering velocity through better architecture and tooling, and led hiring loops. Whether you’re aiming to level up technically, break into a top-tier company, or just want strategic guidance on your career path, I can help with personalized prep, system design deep dives, or career growth planning.

Availability:

I usually run sessions on weekday evenings or weekends (CET), but I’m happy to adjust based on your schedule and time zone.
