Introductory Call with

An introductory call is a simple way to get to know a mentor before committing to ongoing mentorship. This session gives you the chance to ask questions, talk through your goals, and see whether the mentor’s background, communication style, and approach feel like the right fit for you. It is a low-pressure starting point designed to help you make a more confident decision.

You can use the call to share what you are working on, what kind of support you are looking for, and where you feel stuck right now. It is also a chance to understand how the mentor typically works with mentees, what kind of guidance they can offer, and whether there is a strong mutual fit. The goal is to leave the conversation with more clarity on your next step and whether you want to continue working together.

I’m a former investment banker and CEO with over a decade of experience in financial services and technology.

I started my career at RBS advising large financial institutions on capital, risk, and regulatory strategy, before moving into operating roles where I built and scaled an insurtech company as CEO.

Today, I work with fintech and AI founders and operators on strategy, product, and execution in complex, regulated environments—helping them make clearer decisions and scale more effectively.

I typically run these introductory sessions with founders, product leaders, and operators who are:

- scaling early or growth-stage fintech/AI products
- navigating regulatory or architectural complexity
- making high-stakes strategic decisions
