In a casual, informal introductory call, a mentor will introduce themselves, show you around the platform, explain how our mentorships work, and explain how they would set up a mentorship with you.

This session is perfect if you're looking for a long-term mentor, but you're just not sure how this can work – or if you already set eyes on a specific mentor, and want to get to know them beforehand.

Alexey is an experienced UX Designer and mentor. During the mentorship, he answered all my questions, pointed to my mistakes, and helped me to choose the right path in my UX journey. It helped me a lot to structurize and apply pieces of knowledge I already had. I have just one Sketch session with Alex, but I have had one of the best mentoring experiences I have ever had. Apart from the general mentoring skills like being attentive, focusing on the mentee's needs, and having clear and focused communication, he can share many exciting stories regarding UX questions to get the big picture. Additionally, he can guide you through Sketch in an excellent way to make your learning journey more inspiring. Furthermore, he recommended a career option that might help me further in my career change process. Finally, he also runs extra miles for his mentees. For instance, I asked him a legal question relating to the usage of font styles. He promised to ask competent people to help me. I can thoroughly recommend Alex!
