Having a good portfolio on hand is key for any designer in the job market. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an impressive portfolio that presenty your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.

In this session, a mentor with design and hiring experience will go over your portfolio and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch portfolio at the end of the sessions.

This session is for designers who want honest, practical feedback on how their portfolio will be read by hiring managers.

I bring 12+ years of experience reviewing portfolios as a designer, hiring manager, and design leader across startups and enterprise SaaS teams. I’ve screened and interviewed hundreds of designers and now coach designers through portfolio strategy, positioning, and interview readiness.

This is not a design critique focused on visual polish alone. The feedback centers on:
Clarity of role and positioning
Whether the portfolio answers hiring managers’ core questions
Storytelling, scope, and decision-making
What’s helping you get interviews—and what’s quietly hurting you
