His advice is practical, well-structured, and clearly based on extensive industry experience. Second, what impresses us most is his mentoring style. Rather than giving Julian the answers, Kevin consistently asks thoughtful questions that encourage him to think critically, explain his reasoning, and make his own design decisions. This has helped Julian develop confidence and think more like a game designer rather than simply following instructions. Third, Kevin is always exceptionally well prepared. Before each session, he creates clear and well-organized materials that guide the discussion. After each meeting, he provides detailed notes, summarizes the key decisions, and assigns focused, achievable tasks for the next session. He also gives professional feedback on Julian's work, highlighting both the strengths of his ideas and the areas worth exploring further. Overall, Kevin has created a very structured and supportive learning environment.
