Portfolio Feedback with

A strong portfolio can open doors, but only if it clearly shows what you can do and why it matters. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you improve how your work is presented, whether you are applying for jobs, pitching clients, or building credibility in your field. If your portfolio feels scattered, outdated, or not quite convincing enough, this session gives you practical feedback on how to strengthen it.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to review your portfolio through the eyes of a hiring manager, client, or industry peer. Together, you can assess the quality of your project selection, case studies, storytelling, structure, and presentation, and identify what is missing or not landing. The goal is to leave with clearer direction on how to make your portfolio more focused, more compelling, and more effective at creating opportunities.

On top of 12 years of Product Design experience, I also have 10+ years of experience hiring people at businesses ranging from early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar unicorns. This background, paired with my experience as a copywriter, allows me to add considerable value for those looking to validate and/or improve their portfolio.

Sessions are split into three parts.

1. A quick 2-5 minute overview where you share which types of jobs/companies you are applying to and/or relevant goals.

2. I review and share high-level feedback, followed by ranking the issues in order of priority/importance.

3. I then share clear actionable feedback/suggestions on how to improve the content and/or design.
