About this session
If you have a business idea, or even multiple ideas, it's crucial to get validation and support to ensure success. Brainstorming with someone who can question the sustainability of your ideas can be incredibly helpful in organizing and laying the foundation for your big startup. Additionally, branding yourself or your business is essential to stand out in the competitive world of entrepreneurship.
When I started my first business, I was in a similar position. I had many ideas but needed guidance on which one would be the most viable and well-suited for my skills and goals. Through a mentor I found during my leadership course, I gained a better understanding of my own DNA as a business owner and received valuable advice on executing my final idea.
If you're looking for advice, direction, and clarity as you take your first leap into entrepreneurship, I'm here to help. Let's talk and work together to ensure your business has a solid foundation for success.
Your mentor
I work with early-stage founders who want to become 'investor-ready, fundable, and clear on their go-to-market strategy' — not just “talk through ideas.”
For the past 6 years, I’ve mentored startups and entrepreneurs globally, and I currently serve as a Round 2 Judge for Alibaba Business Heroes (Jack Ma Foundation) for the 2022–2025 cohorts. This gives me a rare, behind-the-scenes view into how investors actually evaluate founders, teams, traction, and narratives — and why most startups don’t make the cut.
Startups and Entrepreneurs work with me when they need help with:
* Fundraising readiness & investor storytelling
* Pitch deck clarity (what to say, what to remove, what investors ignore)
* Go-to-market strategy for pre-seed and seed startups
* Positioning themselves as credible, fundable founders. co-founders
* Understanding how investors think across Asia, the Middle East, and global markets
* Help you setup in Asia if you are coming here for the first time or just want to expand
I’ve built and run startups myself, worked with teams across New York, Toronto, Dubai, Singapore, and India, and have been part of early digital initiatives for companies like IBM, Mercedes-Benz, Merrill Lynch, and Bacardi. This mix of "operator experience + investor exposure" allows me to give feedback that is direct, practical, and grounded in reality.
If you’re looking for generic startup advice, I’m probably not the right mentor.
If you want -- honest, investor-aligned feedback and clarity on what will actually move your startup forward -- we’ll work well together.
------- Who I’m not a fit for ---------
I’m not a fit if you’re looking for motivation, surface-level feedback, or generic startup conversations. I work with founders who want clarity, traction, and honest feedback aligned with how investors actually think.
