I’ve loved computers since childhood, thanks to my tech lead dad who taught me Pascal. Initially, programming was just my hobby.

My true passion emerged when I discovered teaching, obtaining a teacher's degree and mentoring hundreds in subjects from math to social skills. Despite loving it, public education wasn’t for me.

So I taught myself to code as a professional. After six months of studying and several interviews, I landed my first job. Many months later, I transitioned to a part-time role to balance work with tutoring and my family. It was challenging but rewarding. I learned a lot about the interview process and marketing myself effectively. And you can learn it, too.

**My work experience:**

I have 3+ years of experience in Java and 1 year with Python. I’ve also completed several courses in Machine Learning, my favorite topic. As I don’t have a CS degree, if you’re also looking to enter software development from another field, I'm probably the right mentor for you.
