An entrepreneur at heart, I try creating and implementing sustainable business models for impactful innovations. I always start with a simple question - How do we make profits? An innovation which is also a profitable business in the long term creates maximum impact.
I successfully commercialized two inventions in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Logistics Space. These products are now profitable businesses, sold across geographies and have helped save more than 100,000 lives. I now work very closely with the board and management to help devise growth strategies for the company. On a particular day I interact with teams across functions. For example, I might start my day with understanding transfer pricing principles for our subsidiary in Europe but end my day with discussing technical aspects of temperature management in Lithium Ion Batteries. My first entrepreneurial stint of a health food cafe was a failure but it was certainly a fun ride.
When I am not thinking of business, I am binge watching a series on Netflix with my wife, folding paper (Origami), reading (Could be anything from investing in stock markets to inner engineering by Sadhguru but definitely non-fiction), experimenting a new healthy food option or enjoying a nice cold beer preferably Guiness if available.
