Hello! I'm Austin. With a decade of experience in startups and enterprise software, I've had the opportunity to dive into various exciting areas like smartglasses and wearables, mobile, low-code, IoT and the fascinating world of Generative AI and Deep Learning. I've had the joy of speaking at large conferences, spearheaded the development and integration of emerging technologies, and built products from 0 -> 1.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Engineering at a deep-learning company called Abacus.AI. Over the years, I've built strong partnerships with banks, insurance companies, hospitals, and Fortune 500 companies, which has been incredibly rewarding; I enjoy few things more than delighting customers with products that work exceptionally well.
One of my passions is mentoring. I've had the privilege of hiring, coaching, and growing engineers, from new graduates to team leads. Helping others develop their skills and find fulfillment in their careers is something I take great pride in.
