Annie Steenson

Software Engineer - Apple

Software Engineer at Apple. Recently graduated from university with my Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering. Originally from Nebraska. Now local to the San Francisco Bay Area.

I have interviewed at all the major technology companies (Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple) plus some non-traditional tech companies (J.P.Morgan Chase, Accenture, etc). I'm currently a React mentor for the Udacity Nanodegree program.

I specialize in Web Development. I love everything JavaScript: React, Node.JS, Redux, Express, etc. I'm very frontend centric but I am familiar with some backend technologies such as Java, Python, Hadoop, Spark, XML/XSL.

I'm very self-taught. Practice makes perfect! I'd love to help you strategically plan and develop your career. (:

Vlad Khomutov

Founder - Fast Venture

Like a personal trainer that helps regular people become athletes, I help people become entrepreneurs.

In the past twenty years, I founded eight technology companies, two consulting agencies, helped more than twenty startups go to market, and made products for some of the world's biggest brands like Visa, BMW, and Disney, including 11 Fortune 500 companies. My work is used by hundreds of millions of people around the world.

Since I started building technology companies in the mid 90’s, I filed patents for algorithmic publishing, had one of my startups featured by Apple as “New & Noteworthy,” and built real-time audience engagement apps for American Idol and prime-time TV in North America. I owned a retail clothing brand, led e-commerce design for a $27 Billion dollar telecom, and helped with digital transformation of large financial institutions like TD, RBC, and Manulife.

Design was my calling since I could hold a pencil, I just didn’t realize it until University, when someone offered me $200 to design a website and I decided to drop out of a business school to focus on design consulting - a decision that changed my life, sent me to three continents, and helped me build a network of amazing connections all around the world.

Owning a business is not easy, but the reward is worth it. Once you learn how to live life on your terms and generate revenue from your ideas, you will never want to go back to being "the human resource,” wake up with the anxiety of being late for work, or hoping your manager approves your vacation request. You can once again be anything you want in life — while creating massive value for others.

Welcome to the most exciting journey of your life!
